The three-tower condo project is envisioned to be an urban tropical oasis – that offers industrial, modern, and elegant living spaces and premium amenities, a perfect sanctuary for balance and wellness. In an interview with CLI EVP and COO Jose Franco B. Soberano, he shared that Mandtra Residences was designed during the height of the pandemic in which CLI had the opportunity “to look at how building can be better in the new normal and a better normal -- with healthier amenities and better green building design” said Soberano. A harmonious and healthy place to call home.

Engineering and construction company, Vision Properties Development Corporation (Vision), was entrusted to build their vision into a reality, as the general contractor for this project.

Mandtra Residences is Vision’s second project with CLI, and in ending his speech at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vision President and CEO Alberto A. Ignacio, Jr. said that

“We would like to work with CLI many many times over and I think we should do better and do well in our first two a span of 5 months they’ve [CLI] awarded Vision with 2 projects... because of their trust and confidence in the family and the company.”

To which CLI President and CEO Jose Soberano III affirmed at the groundbreaking by saying

”our contractor [with whom] we have started and given one project ahead of this. But we look forward to more - as I’m referring to Vision.”

In choosing a contractor, CLI EVP and COO Jose Franco B. Soberano said that aside from a good track record, financial capability, and a good management team, they also value the core values of a company. According to Soberano, CLI sees the “efforts towards professionalizing the company more toward improving quality control, professionalism, improvement in safety..”. Soberano also ends his interview by saying that “’s still very early but we’re very optimistic that Vision will do a good job.”

For Vision and CLI, this groundbreaking ceremony not only celebrates the construction of the Mandtra Residences but also lays down the foundation for a stronger partnership between Vision and CLI.
