In the aftermath of Typhoon Odette (International name: Typhoon Rai) on December 17, 2021, Visionproperties Development Corporation (Vision) decided to wholeheartedly support the call for donations to their kabalikat that were greatly affected by the typhoon.
Typhoon Odette (International name: Typhoon Rai) approached the southern Philippines and made landfall at least nine times from December 16 to 17, which triggered forced evacuations and left a trail of destruction in its wake in parts of Visayas and Mindanao.
According to a media report: “Over 4.8 million have been listed as being affected by the storm. Of which, 339,881 remain displaced and inside 1,487 evacuation centers, while 135,292 displaced persons are still outside evacuation centers.”; some of which are Vision’s Cebu-based staff and workers.
Vision would like to thank all its generous donors, employees, and partners for their donations. Without a doubt, the success of the fundraiser was all thanks to the people that contributed to their cause and to the recovery of their kabalikat.
Vision was able to raise funds for its affected staff and workers which were used to purchase relief packs for 70 of its affected staff and workers; which was distributed from December 29, 2021 to January 4, 2022.
